Terms of Service

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of InboxOK ("InboxOK," "we," "us"), including inboxok.com, app.inboxok.com, api.inboxok.com, and the email deliverability monitoring service they provide (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

InboxOK monitors the public DNS configuration of domains you add (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), checks those domains and their sending IPs against public DNS-based blacklists, and — on eligible plans — sends diagnostic test emails to InboxOK's own seed mailboxes to report where they land (inbox, spam, or promotions). InboxOK alerts you by email, and optionally by webhook, when something changes.

InboxOK does not send email on your behalf, does not access your outbound mail, customer lists, or SMTP credentials, and does not read the content of any email you send. See our Privacy Policy for what we do collect.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a magic link or one-time code sent to your email address — there is no password. You're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, and for all activity under your account, including any API keys you generate. Notify us at support@inboxok.com if you believe your account or an API key has been compromised.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

  • The Free plan is free indefinitely for one domain, with no credit card required.
  • Paid plans (Basic, Pro, Business) are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. InboxOK never sees or stores your card number — Stripe handles that directly.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@inboxok.com and we'll look into it.
  • Prices and plan features may change; we'll give notice before a change affects your active subscription.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to monitor a domain you don't own or aren't authorized to monitor.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or API authentication.
  • Use the Service to send spam, or interfere with InboxOK's own seed mailboxes or infrastructure.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service beyond what's reasonably necessary to use the public API.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. API Access

API access is available on every plan, subject to the request-volume and endpoint limits described in the API documentation, which may change from time to time. Keep your API keys confidential — treat them like a password.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, including Supabase (authentication), Stripe (billing), Resend (transactional email delivery), Mail-Tester (inbox placement testing), and Railway and Vercel (hosting). Their availability affects ours; we're not responsible for outages or failures on their end, though we'll do our best to keep you informed of anything that affects the Service.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep InboxOK running reliably and publish real-time status at api.inboxok.com/status, but the Service is provided without any uptime guarantee or formal SLA at this time. Check frequency (daily, hourly, or real-time) depends on your plan, as described on our pricing page.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. InboxOK monitors and alerts on deliverability signals we can observe — it does not guarantee that your email will reach the inbox, and is not a substitute for your own judgment about your sending practices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InboxOK will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of revenue, profits, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (billing obligations already incurred, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, notify active account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by generally applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
